With dimensions that are 85 percent of the size of the Ultratech®, the UTX-85® measures 7.65" in total length, features a 3.10" blade and weighs 3.1 oz. Constructed with high-quality materials such as 6061-T6 aluminum, proprietary screws and equipped with a glass breaker and Böhler M390MK® steel, the UTX-85® maintains the same standards of excellence as the original Ultratech®.

Despite its smaller size, it offers comparable ergonomics to its predecessor for a comfortable grip. The UTX-85® is perfect for everyday carry due to its compact size while remaining highly capable and reliable.

    I love this exact configuration. I purchased it for working security where I need to cut rope, zip ties, maybe a seatbelt, and pretty much anything a serrated edge is good for. The serrations combined with the M390MK means it will be a long time before I have to sharpen it as long as I just do simple maintenance. It’s already fired 100s of times without a misfire as well.
