Knife review (CHAVES KNIFE Omega) If you don’t have a Chaves knife, are you really a knife collector ? For the longest time I have been wanting to own a Chaves knife, but I wanted something rare. So I waited for the right time and that’s when Blade Show Atlanta happened. So many new and exciting knives were showcased, so many amazing options to pick from. I knew there would be some spectacular creations/collaborations with Chaves Knives, that’s when I found about the Omega. A beautiful piece of work infused with the minds of Ramon Chaves and Jake McCoy, you know it’s gonna be something out of this world. Well it was, the knife is gorgeous and I knew it would sell out fast. I wanted one of the Street configurations with the unique and one of a kind integral handle mechanism. I chose the Stonewash finish on the titanium handle with a Machine finish on the blade. I love the blade design, I have never seen this tanto blade shape ever on a knife. I’m a huge fan of tanto knives, especially when they are unique and out of this world. They also chose a very superior blade steel and popular known as M390, which I really admire because of its the sharpness and corrosion resistance. The thumb studs pair nicely with the blade, I’m very glad they went with a machine finish to match with the blade. But the star of this show, would have to be titanium handle with the spectacular integral piece. Not only does it look good, but it feels great when holding it. I was worried because how smooth the handle looked but the way they contoured them, somehow works and the grip is secure. Even the shape of the pocket clip which I believe is titanium, accentuates very well with the components of the knife. I am definitely beyond satisfied with the magnificent knife, I highly recommend it
