Aluminum? No problem!
This finish more than most, is very scratch....blendable. The beauty marks a daily carry acquires are usually loud and proud but this finish really delays the point of "battle tested" an aluminum knife can be. Now that's my review of this finish for this knife specifically. As far as the CHUB OTF goes. This is as utilitarian as an OTF has ever been. I don't feel like a LARP whipping this thing out at work every day. It's a great conversation piece too. Only real issue I had is OOTB the action was unusually stiff. It took 2 hands to even actuate. So I drowned it in some super lube drifilm than promptly blew it out with compressed air while spamming actuation and that did the trick! Smooth as butter.
