Before even getting into the knife, this review is really about EDC Lifestyle as a company, because that’s what actually matters when you’re making a serious purchase. I did my homework before buying. I looked into EDC Lifestyle’s reputation, how they operate, and how they handle high-end inventory — and that research paid off immediately. This is one of those businesses where you can tell, pretty quickly, that things are being done the right way. No fluff, no hype games — just solid execution. Communication was excellent. You can actually get someone on the phone. A real human. Who answers. And is helpful. That alone puts them ahead of a lot of companies these days. Super easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and clearly someone who stands behind what they sell. Packaging deserves its own moment. This was done right. Extremely well protected, clean, professional, and packed by people who understand exactly what they’re shipping. Opening the box felt less like “hope everything survived” and more like “yeah, this is how it should arrive.” They even threw in some swag, which was a cool touch and shows appreciation without trying too hard. If you’re another business reading this review: this is how you run a company. Clear communication, proper presentation, respect for the customer, and zero shortcuts. As for the knife — it’s Microtech. A Marfione Select proof run speaks for itself. If you’re buying at this level, you already know what you’re looking at. No need for a spec breakdown or hype paragraph here. If you know, you know. Bottom line: I’m genuinely impressed with EDC Lifestyle. You can buy Microtech knives in a lot of places, but not every place earns your confidence the way these guys do. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again — and that’s really the highest compliment there is.

Is what they nicknamed me in college, but I digress. I love machines, I love knives, and I love simplicity; the Nemesis has all that in spades. It's a perfect suit knife because of how slim it is, but despite being so slender it's sturdy. Perfectly machined edge with a tip so sharp it doesn't cause pain when it pierces deep enough to draw blood.

This knife is a blast to deploy and has a sleek, dark silhouette that’s peak Microtech. The safety is a welcome addition and gives me sufficient confidence to carry it in my pocket. The blade is very long for an OTF, but it’s not all for show. It’s screaming sharp right out of the box with a needle tip. If you like autos and OTF knives and you’re looking for the most explosive deployment and recoil, this is the one to get.
