    Lockbar not enough tension

Posted by Owen Allen on Jan 10th 2026

Start off by saying that Dien has been working with me to get this exchanged for another anax so this has nothing to do with the company he has been great. The lockbar does not have enough tension on it. Will not fully go into lockup against tang. Has small amount of lock rock when open. Has small amount of detent lash .0015" due to the light lockbar pressure detent ball isn't fully seating in blade divet. I have dozens of frame locks and quite a few microtechs and this is the first Rike microtech I've purchased. Pretty dissapointed in the quality control and the fact that microtech thinks this is a $600 msrp knife is a joke.
