Next-Level Design and Construction
I previously had a Microtech Amphibian, but gifted it to my brother in law. When I saw this version in purple, it was an easy decision to get a new one. The Amphibian design has to be held to truly understand how well it was designed. It is a large knife, but the subtle curves fit into your hand like it was made for you. The blade is also well designed, with the recurved edge providing strong cutting power that is also capable of delicate work. The Microtech Ram-Lock is very strong and well built. This is a big knife ready for big work. It's an easy choice for use as a duty knife or anywhere else you would want a hard-use knife that can chew through anything you throw at it.
